Family outing

The kids were bored.

I know that this is normal for late adolescence, and to be experienced to the full because soon boredom will be a thing of the past.

Still...

So while I was in the Apple store being taught the wonders of Keynote - and there ARE wonders - Pat was coaxing the kids to the bus stop to come into town for ice-creams at Flunch, then the cinema. It took two goes, but finally she got them to the stop and I met them in Flunch, taking advantage of a wall-socket to charge my phone.

We went to see Monster University, which was splendid. My favourite thing was the Randy Newman soundtrack. Most splendid, with some fine tromboning.
