It's in Pessac. Four bedrooms. A much more 'normal' house, but less potential for meeting rooms, having teams to camp, etc.

Our sentiments entirely!

Thankfully we are not in a hurry - though we do get a bit fed up of the hunt. A cheerful chap who looked at the landaise at the same time as us (two of Charlie's Angels were there) tried to sell us his motorhome for camping in (I was tempted!) and said "My advice is to see too many houses, and then one more.."

Although I might not be prepared to subscribe to the motorhome theory, I would endorse his comment about too many houses, and then one. Even though your head may be spinning, I know that you will have set down the good and bad points on each house in writing somewhere. That way you will of course be able to return to 'The Collected Thoughts of A. Owse Hunter' at your leisure and regain, in part at least, your equilibrium. As you don't need to rush I would suggest you don't. If you make a mistake, you'll have a long time to rue it! I would suggest that it's something akin to marriage, you know the old adage, 'Marry in haste, repent at leisure'. I don't mean to be poor comfort, but I do feel for you in your quandary, and I'm aware that something akin to panic can easily set in: the Lord preserve you from that! L.I.J.

Yes.

It's a luxury having time to look properly, and we do appreciate it greatly!

Usually you have buyers breathing down your necks or something. This way we can get an idea of what is available, what we could fit into and what we could work in.
