It's an ill wind
I had a marathon day yesterday. 8h30 to 10h30 Contemp. Lit., then briefly home to help Gwilym with his homework, before back to DEFLE to help a chap with an application letter in English, then lunch together (bunny with mushrooms and pasta - it was the shortest queue!) then classes from 13h30 - 18h30, then a conference given by a writer from Paris, then to the prayer meeting, then home at about 23h35. Killer!
That's Wednesdays for you. One student in her thirties did the same timetable yesterday, without the prayer meeting, obviously, and decided today to change her options forthwith so she never has to do it again.
BUT - when I got back home Pat and Gwilym had done his homework together - long divisions and big multiplications - and Pat has suddenly discovered a love for Mathematics.
She has just finished doing tonight's maths with him and at present she is helping him put his verbs in the passé composé. I'll scuttle in in a while to check the agreements of the past participle (always a source of joy and delight).
