St Delphin

I took this picture today while waiting for the windscreen to be replaced (Carglass repare! Carglass remplace!) I've often seen this church (yes, it's a church) while passing on the bus. I am not sure, but I think St Delphin is the patron saint of visually impaired modernist architects. Posted by Picasa

I can't find a Saint called Delphin on Wikipedia, but there was a German midget submarine by that name in WW2. Surely that must be the connection! There again, she could be a very recent and modern saint.

This is, quite clearly, the patron saint of certain flowers, white and blue. Displayed is the French language version of the flower, I'm sure you can manage the English name without any further help.
