Today after lunch there was an information meeting after church
Here we are singing "Toi qui disposes" as a thanksgiving. After lunch the meeting
1) explained the organisation of the church. Alan appears on the organisation chart now as in charge of technical aspects.
2) explained the church's new mission statement. I'll type this in sometime.
3) explained our search for new premises. Essentially our present hall doesn't fulfil legal safety requirements for a public hall. That means we can meet there, but we can't advertise our meetings or put up a notice board. Also we have to quit the premises next summer because the landlord wants to sell. So we are hunting for new premises either on the right bank (where we are now) or possibly in Mérignac (that is more or less where we Daveys hope to live) or in North Bordeaux. Trouble is property is very expensive either to rent or to buy in Bordeaux. After lunch during the meeting some students and youngsters entertained the children. See below.
