OK - I have had a happy day planning and sussing out

Planning for the young people's meetings in the autumn. I'm doing the teaching programme for the lycéens (6th formers), and I'd like to do a three-pronged approach - an overview of the Bible, an overview of Christian teaching, and an overview of the Christian life. So I have been looking for suitable overviews, preferably in French !

Bible overview candidates
Daniel Bergèse' Connaître et comprendre la Bible. It has a few drawbacks, not least that the youngsters ought to read 20 Bible chapters per week. Also I'd like a rather more Emmaüs Road approach - more Christ focused.

Whereupon I ask - does anyone know anything about Goodseed International and John R Cross ? They have something called The man on the Emmaus Road which is downloadable in French and seems almost too good to be true on a cursory examination. I can't find a statement of faith on their website. Would I be put off on a more detailed examination ?

John Timmer Le salut de la Genèse à l'Apocalypse. This book is becoming quite familiar now ! But it is not an easy book to present, and the study questions are sometimes rather difficult.

An Australian kids thing called "The King, the snake and the promise", which could be beefed up for the lycéens. And anyway, they might quite like to make a big felt banner.

Christian teaching overview candidates
Calvin Brève instruction chrétienne.

Paul Wells Croire sans douter. Based on the Apostles' creed and looking really good but maybe too big.

Catechisme de Heidelberg.
But this is almost certainly too big and detailed for what we want.

Christian life overview candidates
Again Paul Wells has a book La foi chrétienne en libre accès which could be just what we want.

Alternatively John White's The fight exists in French

This is where you suggest other suitable options !
