Cadillac (defensive gate)

After Catrin's French lesson with Marion (who says Catrin is doing very well) and my session doing homework with Gwilym (long division) and after fixing the devastation wrought by tech support on the computer in the garage (reinstalling the USB wireless adapter sorted it out), we decided that we should do something "together".

So we went to Cadillac. I just fancied the name, but it turned out to be a really nice little town. It's a bastide (a fortified, walled town) and has a MASSIVE chateau right in the middle, which was open.

It's the Rhuthun of the Gironde. Posted by Picasa
