On the agenda today

Three things :

1) The weekend looms large. I'm preaching in French in Blaye in the morning and in English in Cenon in the evening.

2) I need to wire up and fire up two rather antique PCs that are currently lodging in a corner of our living room. Friend Joseph wants some files off the one that fires up under XP - but therein lies a problem because when I last tried them one came up under Win98 and the other didn't start at all..! Still he's waited weeks now, poor lad, so I'll have a go !

3) Etude Biblique at Centre FAC this evening - the topic under discussion is the veracity of the Bible, ready to do some sessions on how to understand the Bible using "Postcard from Palestine" and "Dig deeper".

2) Go into the guts of the old machine and pull out the hard disc - open your new machine and temporarily plug it into one of your drives - just disconnect what's there and connect other hard drive - then take all the info off.

Yes - that'd be great.

But the new machine is in the USA !
