Several friends have recently been bereft of their luggage while on international flights

Here's a cautionary report from the Telegraph.

Since the airline gets the money (- 15% for the auctioneers), there seems no real incentive to improve the baggage handling. The baggage handlers don't seem concerned either! Don't fly BA!

Never have. Probably never shall.

That is outrageous, that makes me really angry. We flew with BA to France two weeks ago and our bags didn't make the connection (Edinburgh - London, London - Toulouse). Thankfully they delivered the bags to our house in Azillanet the next day, but it was still annoying.

I am liking BA less and less as the days go by.
