A special day

Firstly Pat got her results from the language school.

Mention bien, with an average mark of almost 15/20 ! (75% !) I think this has probably strengthened her resolve not to continue at DEFLE next year because it would mean going into the premier degrée course, which involves a lot more written work.

Then after picking Gwilym up from school we scuttled off down to the Lot et Garonne to visit an ex-pastor of mine and his family who are at a gite near Nérac. We were at Gadebridge Baptist Church in Hemel Hempstead from 1980 to 1982. They later spent almost 10 years working in Austria though now they're all back in South Wales where they come from. Here's some pictures of the gite's pool.
