The heat!

While Britain luxuriates in the warmth, Gironde is on orange alert because of a potentially dangerous heatwave. French readers can read about it here:

The drill is:

Shutters and windows closed.
Drink LOTS of water.
Eat salty food occasionally.

Temps here also are expected in the region of between 35 - 37 tomorrow. A dry heat though, but even the hardy sunbathers are keeping out of the sun now. Tescos is good for air-con! The BBC are advocating an NHS site for 'how to cope with the heat'. Ahh, Brits talking about the weather! Praise the Lord for the weather. He probably created it just so the brits could talk about it. Now there's modesty!

And thank God for clean water, and for all those who are working hard to provide clean water to other countries in the world.

Have you ever thought what an amazing luxury bottled water is!
