It's a toss-up as to which is the worst, the village itself or the tune played on an organ! I think the tune wins the competition; oh, for the crisp, clear tones of a piano - well played of course!

I take it that you are not familiar with Ralph (Rafe) Vaughan Williams' "Three preludes on Welsh hymn tunes", his sublime settings of Bryn Calfaria, Hydrofoil and Rhosymedre ! Originally written for organ, Rhosymedre is also popular as an orchestration.

There we are - one man's meat is another man's poisson, as they say...
