The day after


Saturday having been largely cancelled, life resumes today with just certain matters to resolve when we can. A neighbour has this problem, for example.

Yes. And folks at church are OK, though some still have no electricity. One lady lives in a house where all her shutters are electric, so she can't even get sunlight into the house - she has become a troglodyte until the power is restored.

Incidentally this roofless house is next-door to our doctor's surgery and pharmacy (the building you can see behind the house)

(And on the BBC web newspages.) I notice from the web page that it was PAT Davy who had the foresight to send it, I trust she won't be sharing the royalties with anyone close to her!!!

Pat is very generous and has offered to give me 50% of all royalties she receives.

However, since the BBC pays diddly-squat I do not anticipate filling my piggy-bank in the near future.
