BOY OH BOY was it COLD in church yesterday morning
The problem was a combination of weather (grey skies, low temperatures, a little snow), bad insulation (corrugated metal ceiling with no insulation above) and inadequate heating (electric radiators which we turned on on our arrival). I regretted not wearing my mega-thick coat - I had a thin jumper and my fleece. But a good scarf-thing.
When the sun shines in it warms the room well but no sun, no warmth.
The chemical toilet is working OK, though we all long for proper sewage. The sewage company is coming to look in Febaruary.
Still, we'll get there. We'll get there.
In the evening we were cosy and snug crammed into the small room with an electric radiator and fortified by hot drinks. Some new faces again - two Korean girls and a Peruvian chap. Pat counted 18. That's not bad in that small room.
