Closure of the menagerie

I got home this afternoon after a lunchtime appointment to find that our last remaining animal, Gwilym's gerbil, had gently shuffled off.

No more animals.

Well, not until after the summer, anyway.

If you'd like couple of degus to replace them, my little boy Jono has a couple who he has being trying to rehome. (Saved them from a bad home, a third one had apparently died of neglect etc., etc., - long story). However, two problems; I'm not sure that they would cope with the heat of a Bordeaux summer and anyway, despite what he says, I suspect that he, his wife and the dog have become too attached to them...... Ain't it always the way!!!
