One of the things I love about France

is that when my son arrives at school he shakes hands with the lads in his class and does la bise with the girls.

Yes! I miss that - It was a bit awkward knowing what to do with the girls when I came back to the States. At least in the south you give the sidehug, but in the north you shake the guys hands, and kind of ....wave... at the girls...anyway I'm still not completely used to it and really do miss "la bise"!
