Another two agents and another three houses

The two agents - one just took my details. Very swift! Just 1/2 hour!

The second said "And your budget? You'll be lucky!" I thought "How does one say 'Luck will have nothing to do with it my dear' in French and make it sound friendly? Instead I just said "I know", and she arranged for us to see a house tomorrow morning. And she confirmed that yes, Talence is indeed more expensive than Pessac.

Anyway then went to my rendezvous with the very efficient lady from yesterday who had lined up three houses for us to see.

1) 1970s. Backs onto a busy road, but it's only busy weekdays at rush hour. The garden was pleasant with trees - not too big, not too small. Also a huge advertising hoarding which brings in a little rent! Four bedrooms. But the lounge was SMALL. Far too small for a lounge diner. And the kitchen was small and grotty. It would need refitting. However, the house has been reduced in price and I reckon we could get it cheaply. Ministry? Not inside the house.

2) 2000. Lovely house. Nice kitchen. Nice lounge / dining room. 3 big bedrooms. Very Small Garden with no shade and overlooked by the gym nextdoor. It would be easy to live in this house, but the garden was really non-existent. You could just about eat outdoors. Not a house for ministry!

3) 1968. Nice lounge. Kitchen you could eat in. 3 big bedrooms. Steel roof. Huge detached garage / workshop that could become my office with a bit of sprucing up. Could work for ministry.

All in Pessac.
