OK - so its the 5ème for the lad

Gwilym's form teacher has told him that he won't be redoing the year because it goes on your average mark, and his average is 11.8 - so there we are. The only way is up.

I asked him what he'd think about continuing in the same class but with some help with his German, if we can find someone. He's up for that if we can do it, so I need to fix a rdv with the director and/or the German teacher. Or failing that, write them a note.

and Pat has a German friend from her class at DEFLE ! We'll contact her to see if she'd be able to give us a hand with the old deutsche.

If need be. We don't yet know what class he'll be in next year, though we know it'll be the 5ème...

The Kitchen

 Our new apartment will be equipped with toilet and bathroom etc. but not with anything at all in the kitchen. Not even a sink. So we need to purchase a kitchen and engage a kitchen fitter. A friend who knows how to fit kitchens suggested buying an Ikea kitchen. "They're guaranteed twenty years and they honour their guarantee", he said. "I've proved it".
