Is the English spelling "phosgene"?

As I seem to recollect, 'phosgene' is a poisonous gas used in warfare.

I just have this sneaking suspicion that the name relates to the place of their origin. You may consider this to be borne out by the legend "SUC DES VOSGES" printed in gold in the green coloured crescent. Just a thought.

Well actually, I do expect to be not TOO far away from you come Wednesday evening next, but somewhat South East in Provence. I'll wave if we go over Bordeaux, be sure to wave back.
